Bowfishing is a method of fishing that uses specialized archery equipment to shoot and retrieve fish. Fish are shot with a barbed arrow that is attached with special line to a reel mounted on the bow.

At Fishhunter Enterprise we require that the minimum age to fish with us be 12 years or older.

We realize that many individuals have never experienced the sport of bowfishing prior to a trip. Because of this, we offer a 'Bowfishing 101' class that will bring you up to speed before your trip and having you shooting like a pro in no time!

Our deposit is non-refundable. We understand that things change and life happens which is why we allow you to reschedule your trip for a later date OR the following season, if done before 30 days of the trip without losing your deposit!

Unfortunately, the weather plays a key factor in our bowfishing business and safety is our #1 goal. If we experience bad weather on the date of your trip, we do our best to reschedule in the following days or later date. If this is not something that can be acheived, then we will look into rescheduling into the following season.

Generally, most people have no issue with the poundage we use for bowfishing for Stingrays. We start our bow weight at 27 lbs and go up from there accordingly. We have many women and children that shoot this poundage- no problem!

We do not offer fish cleaning services. However, we will glady teach how to properly do this so that you can do it yourself efficiently!
